Rev. E. Wayne Curry, Pastor

Dear Friends,When Beth and I moved here in July six years ago from Clearwater, we thought: “We’re moving north…it should be cooler in the summer!” We learned quickly from some unknown source that Tallahassee is the third sweatiest city in the country!

August in Tallahassee is hot, humid and rather miserable, and so I thought some light refreshment might help. The following statements about Biblical characters were written by elementary school children. They certainly offer a fresh perspective.

Rev. Tony Fotsch

Associate Pastor

Pastor Tony came to Trinity as his first appointment after being commissioned as a Provisional Elder in 2008. He and his wife Debbie, (who met in a salsa dancing class!), moved to Tallahassee from Ft. Lauderdale, where Debbie grew up. They married in October, 2007 and in February, 2010 they and the church welcomed their firstborn child, Christian Anthony.

Tony’s first career was in Marine Engineering. He did his undergraduate studies in Structural Engineering & Architecture at Washington University in St. Louis. He then received a Master’s Degree of Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley in the Spring of 1997. He moved to Ft. Lauderdale following graduation to work in the Ship & Large Yacht industry.

Tony was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota, growing up in the Methodist faith of his father, yet certainly influenced by his Catholic mother. He experienced a new depth to his faith after moving to South Florida. This was influenced by witnessing the church members intentionally living out their faith, the effective teaching and mentoring of pastors, and a vibrant ministry to his Young Adult generation. This deepening of faith led him to receive a call to ministry in 2000. He commuted weekly to Asbury Theological Seminary in Orlando from where he received a Master in Divinity in 2007. It has been a long and deeply meaningful journey through seminary training and ordination, yet Tony is excited about the awesome path upon which the Lord has called him!
