Mission of Trinity
Located in the middle of downtown Tallahassee, Trinity identifies itself as a “Church with a Heart for the City.”
Our mission is made up of various elements:
- Provide a community of faith for people to experience God’s grace, grow closer to the Lord, and connect with others who care for them.
- Develop the faith of our members as Spirit-filled disciples of Christ and empower them to utilize their God-given gifts and talents to serve.
- Minister to the direct needs of those less-fortunate in the downtown area through such means as providing snack-packs, serving meals, providing shelter on cold nights, etc.
- Provide avenues for these neighbors to experience a relationship with Jesus, the healing power of God, and the power of the Spirit to move beyond their current situation.
- Address the larger issues of faith surrounding the Tallahassee area, often in cooperation with the greater faith community.
- Spread the Gospel of Christ to those who with whom we connect.
- Be on mission to the greater world at large.
