Community Christmas Dinner

This year will mark the 23rd year Trinity United Methodist Church has hosted Tallahassee’s Community Christmas Dinner. The Christmas day dinner, which starts at 12 noon and continues til 2 p.m., is open to everyone, but is especially intended for those who would otherwise be eating alone, or not at all.

Since this is strictly a volunteer project, Trinity relys on the strong support of the community for both volunteers and donations of food. Volunteers are needed to help cook, serve, set up, and clean up. Monetary donations are appreciated to help defray the cost of the dinner. Donations of candies, packages of new men’s work socks, toothbrushes and tooth paste, snack packs of crackers or juice boxes are all examples of items that go into goodies bags that are given to our guests as they leave the dinner.

Please contact Blue or Gloria Whitaker by phone 878-6064 or email blue@talweb.com if you can help.
