Children

The Bible promises parents in Proverbs 22:6 to “train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.” The desire of children’s ministry is to assist parents in teaching their children who Jesus is, to grow up in the knowledge of Him, and ultimately be transformed in His image.

In addition to offering a nursery for early child-care, Trinity provides fun, Christ-centered activities and opportunities for children age three through 5th grade. Children from toddler age through preschool are grouped by age level. Once children enter kindergarten, they are grouped by the grade they attend in school. Live B.I.G., a scripture-based curriculum, is provided for each of the children’s age levels and is designed to include age appropriate activities designed to meet the various learning styles which children bring to the material.

During the 11 o’clock service, Trinity offers an opportunity for children to spend time with children of their own age. Children usually leave the sanctuary for Worship Enrichment after the Offertory and before the Sermon. The volunteer parent leaders meet the children just outside the sanctuary and take them to the class room. Please click this link for more information.
