A Church with a
Heart for the City!

Heart for the City Initiative

The "Heart for the City" initiative is a concrete vision of what God wants us to be and do as a church. Each member of the church wears a pin with the Trinity heart, which is a "T" inside a red heart. What does the "T" mean?

	"T" stands for Trinity - Who We Are
	"T" stands for Tallahassee - Where We Are
	"T" stands for the cross - Whose We Are

We are continually discovering and exploring new ways for us to have a "Heart for the City".

As part of this initiative, we collect and donate school supplies for the Leon County School District, collect smoke detectors for the Leon County Firefighters, and as a church, we participate in something we call "Bear Sunday." On Bear Sunday each member of the congregation brings a teddy bear to church to donate, and then various organizations distribute them to children in need.

New ideas are always welcome.
