Although Sunday morning worship has always been the
focal point of church life for Trinity members, the early members of
the church realized that other programs could enrich and encourage
the faith within the membership. To that end, various programs have
been added to encourage study, enhance worship, and to support
local, national, and worldwide outreach efforts.

National and
International Missions
We support our
Sister Church in Fomento, Cuba by writing letters through our pen
pal program and through mission trips by our church and others where
we take supplies to them and help them in their community.
We participate in
building a Habitat House with other local organizations
each year.
We support the
Florida United Methodist Children's Home through our 5th Sunday
offerings, and other offerings from the congregation.
We support
missionaries in Brazil with letters and monetary assistance when
possible.
Single Adults
in Missions (SAM) SAMis
a hands on ministry of adults who gather periodically to give
service. They cook for the Shelter on the fifth Monday, participate
in the yearly Habitat build, and avail themselves of other
opportunities as they arise.
Heart for
the City The Heart for the City Initiative is a
concrete vision of what God wants us to be and do as a church.
This is to have a heart for the city.

Youth Missions
The Youth take a mission trip once yearly in the
summer. These trips include middle and high school students. Trips
are currently located within the US. Every other year, the mission
trip is combined with a choir tour. Mission/service projects are
available throughout the school year in the Tallahassee area.
Adopt-A-Nole
This is a great opportunity for
Trinity members to reach out to college students who attend Trinity
and other United Methodist College Ministries such as Wesley
Foundation. Students away from home miss family dinners and the
opportunity to interact with families in a "home environment."
