2024 Bicentennial Events | Trinity United Methodist Church, Tallahassee

January 12, 2025 | 11:00 worship service

Celebration Sunday!

A litany at the site of the first church location at the corner of Bronough Street and Park Avenue at 10:00 will be followed by a procession from that location to the present church.  Organist Viktor Billa will present a pre-service concert beginning at 10:45.  The service, beginning at 11:00, will feature special music, a proclamation read by Mayor John Dailey, and the sermon by Bishop Tom Berlin, Bishop of the Florida United Methodist Conference.  A lunch will follow this service.

Concert – St. Olaf Choir

St. Olaf Choir has set the gold standard for choral singing, performing for millions around the world. Composed of 75 mixed voices, the St. Olaf Choir is hailed as one of the nation’s premier a cappella ensembles, renowned for its artistry and beauty of sound. The St. Olaf Choir is internationally renowned for its unique combination of advanced choral singing and the presentation of challenging choral programming with a vast repertoire that includes sacred and secular choral standards, traditional hymns, new compositions, spirituals, and more.
