Dr. Nicholas Quinton answered his call to ministry after serving in a variety of leadership positions at Trinity over the past ten years, including our Spiritual Outreach Team, Nominations Committee, Youth Council, Visioning Leadership Team, Staff Parish Relations Committee, Church Council, Sunday School Teacher, Co-leader for our Young Adult Ministry, and Lay Leader until he was approved as a Certified Candidate for Ministry (Elder Track) in the United Methodist Church.
He served as Pastor of Lake Jackson United Methodist Church before returning to Trinity in his new position as Director of Discipleship and Adult Ministries.
Nick says of Trinity:
The vibrancy of Trinity UMC is evident to anyone who attends a worship service, joins a small group, experiences the congregation’s radical generosity in service, or encounters the abiding hospitality of the members. I seek to return to this Christ centered community as the Director of Discipleship and Adult Ministries after a year of vocational ministry that compliments my previous eight years of service and ministry at Trinity, and a lifetime of service in United Methodist congregations.
Nick first joined Trinity with his wife, Melanie, shortly after they were married. Their two sons, Jackson and John Robert, have grown up in our pre-school.
